Join the Substack waitlist

Substack mirrors issue delivery. One subscription, both surfaces.

Federal sourcing

Separate from the subscription, Raintree Minerals LLC is building a federal critical-mineral sourcing capability — connecting agency buyers and primes with a vetted supplier bench. It isn't live yet (SAM registration in progress). If you're a contracting officer or a supplier, join the waitlist:

Common questions

Is this investment advice?
No. Everything we publish is educational research grounded in primary sources (USGS, LME, USAspending, MOFCOM, Federal Register, issuer disclosures). Make your own decisions.
Why one tier?
We'd rather price for one audience well than three audiences badly. Strait Pass is for analysts, IR teams, procurement leads, and policy shops who want the issue in their inbox and the live data on their screen.
Substack and the website — how does one subscription cover both?
Pay through Stripe here and the live dashboards on this site unlock immediately. We add your email to our Substack list automatically; paid issue access on Substack is then reconciled by hand — Substack has no instant paid-import API yet — so that step can take a few days. Manage billing at /account. One source of truth (us), two delivery surfaces.
Do you trade the minerals you cover?
Not today. Raintree Minerals LLC is building a federal sourcing capability and may contract in certain minerals in our catalog as it comes online. We publish a conflicts matrix on /disclosure showing where any such interest exists versus minerals we only publish about.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month or annual, one-click cancel in the Stripe customer portal at /account. If we ever raise prices, existing subscribers grandfather at their original rate.
